Can someone verify that the 2022 397 utilizes the Rhino frame? About to purchase the Goosebox and don’t wanna mess up the order.

Yes. This is a later build 2022 as it has the mid year changes.

Confirmed today it’s a Rhino. Build date April 2022

A 397TH/397TH-R is the old frame/pin box. A 397THS/397THS-R is the new frame/rhino pin box.

My question to you is...what is the vertical loading weight rating on the Goosebox 20K hitch. The 397 is a very heavy pin weight trailer and I know folks that see 4400/4500 lb of pin weight being put down with that trailer. Will the 20K goosebox handle that? One other thing to think about with a 20K capacity hitch.....the trailer GVWR is at least 20K, and maybe a little more if the axles were upgraded from the factory. Personally, my preference is to have some excess capacity, thus my reason for going with a B&W Companion 25K hitch......just some things to think about.

Have you ran your rig across the scales? Our pin weight is right at 6K with a 21K trailer weight.
