Bluetooth connectivity

Are you connecting through the "One Control" app on the phone for bluetooth. I am connected to the RV on WiFi. I might just give up because as someone stated it does not really save that much time.

I just had to go through this mess with Lippert. You don't say what kind of phone you have, but my Galaxy just received a new OS push this morning and I could no longer connect using BT. I had to delete the saved bluetooth connection, uninstall, reinstall both Compass Connect and One Control apps to get it working again. Also, note if using BT, only one connection allowed. New Bluetooth connection needs the appropriate permissions re-set in the apps as they default to ones that won't allow you to connect.

I'm not sure why but there are 2 apps on my phone: One Control and Compass Connect. The One Control app doesn't seem to work for me so I use the Compass Connect app. Actually, the post above from Robin & John makes a lot of sense to me. Think I'll try that this weekend.

Thanks! I have both on my phone. The One Control works for my propane tanks and my tire linc. It frustrates me that there is confusion on which app works and which one does not.

I disagree. I've had it on my 399, 311 and now 398. I use it all the time and haven't had any issues with any of them. Most people put problems on the forum, not positive comments that things are working well.

You have a point. What I should have said is I read the posts on it here and personally decided it was so problematic that I wouldn't use it. I can't imagine I am missing much.

So there were app updates recently as well. I could no longer see TireLinc on my One Control panel or Compass Connect app (which is what I have used the last year). You can fix this by removing Tire Linc device from the One Control app which I'm probably going to delete anyway - its the same as Compass Connect. Once I removed the TireLinc device from One Control App and Force Stopped the One Control App, TireLinc option was again available on Compass Connect.
