    Broken skylight

I backed in to a camping spot with an overhanging limb that shattered my skylight over the shower. I’m on the road and they are calling for rain. Nearly half of the bubble is missing and I’m 250 miles from home. Any ideas on how to limit leakage until I get home?

Agree with gorilla tape. If you can cover it with a piece of heavy plastic then tape. There is also that flex seal tape, not sure if that sticks any better than the Gorilla tape thogh, just thicker.

As I recall flex seal tape is more of a permanent bond. Gorilla tape sticks very well to most surfaces, creates a water tight seal and is easy to remove.

If it's being used just to seal the hole and not contacting the roof membrane it doesn't matter. Flex tape is nowhere near as strong bonding as eternabond. Used it on a cargo trailer and it did come off much easier than expected, from that experience I would not use it as a permanent repair. Gorilla tape is more economical to use though

I wouldn't buy anything made by FlexSeal, I've tried a couple of their products, and IMO they are not worth the money you pay. The same cannot be said for Gorilla Tape.
