Anyone add this to their trucks and like or dislike? Airlift was brand shop recommend.
My truck has the Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags and I wouldn't tow my 5er without them. It also has a front stabilizer bar and a rear anti sway bar installed by the previous owner because he had a truck camper. The combination of the three items makes for a very smooth towing situation. The only thing I did was replace all of the air lines along with both valves and rerun them to a better filling location.
I removed the license plate bolts and installed the Schrader valves in their place... it makes for easier checking and filling from one location. Click image for larger version.

You don't mention whether you were using a TT or 5th wheel, I have both air bags and weight distribution systems on my 1 ton, as I used to haul both types of trailers commercially. I preferred the WD for trailer hauling, as it provided better control, but the bags were the only option for tweaking my ride height when I did eventually get a fiver of my own. The on board compressor makes it so easy to tweak the ride (and stop blinding oncoming traffic).

I had Timber Grove air bags on our 1500 EC for use with our TT. Loved them. I would highly recommend them. They also make vehicle specific all stainless steel mounts. I had them tee'd together with one Schrader Valve.

I'm sure someone will bring up the weight police, but having been weighed, the weight police go by the yellow sticker, not what the manufacture of the axle says. The yellow tag is the legal document they go by.
Just put this out as information. And as an FYI, I went to a 250 from a 150 because we were within 50LB of the yellow sticker as found out at Cat Scale. We also had the truck/trailer combo weighed at each wheel, which came up coming up at 75 pounds short of my max load. With the F250, we have over 2000 pounds buffer after being fully loaded.

I added Airlift 5000 to my GMC 2500 and have been happy with them. I have the manaul fil and two shrader valves - one for left and one for right.
    I think it's a good investment.
