Replacing the furrion gas stove with an electric oven

We don't use the furrion gas stove in our RV because its a pain in the rear to get started, etc etc... The convection microwave or the air fryer is our go to options to bake. I've been searching replacement options for the furrion gas stove and I came across the furrion electric oven. I didn't know they made one, and it looks like the dimensions are the same as the gas. Has anyone replaced their gas oven with the furrion electric oven? My gas oven has a digital readout, so there should be power behind it.

I'd be looking at fixing the issue with the gas stove before I'd spend that much for another stove, and only 120V. We have the Furrion and it works fine. You don't say what it's in or how old it is, but if you could expand on the problem/s you're having with it, someone may be able to save you $1,000.

The power source for an electric stove will need to be much more robust than what feeds your current stove. You’ll need new wiring from panel to stove.

ETA: You said stove, but your link is to an oven. What do you have now, a range, or separate oven and cooktop?

The furrion electric is only 1400 watts. A typical air fryer is 1500 watts so if there is a 120 behind the gas stove it should work?

Is your current setup a separate oven and cook top, or a range. You used the word stove, but you are looking at an oven.

Yeah, the Furrion gas oven can be hard to start. It took us a while to get the hang of it, but now it works well. We use a pizza stone on the base to level out the heat. Maybe give the gas unit a second chance.

Is it the oven that is hard to start? I had the same problem on my insignia oven. I was able to bend the thermocouple a small amount to get closer to the pilot flame and then I adjusted the gas flow out of the pilot itself. Not sure about the Furrion, but on mine, if you remove the front panel that covers all the knobs, there is an adjustment screw on the oven knob to allow more or less gas. Once I allowed more gas, the pilot doesn't go out right away and it lights much easier.

Its not just the pilot light, the overall experience cooking with a plain jane gas stove and having to use a cooking stone to disperse the heat. The electric oven has fans, a broil option and the temp is more accurate. I guess it depends how much you are going to use it.

Gotcha, makes sense. Was just trying to offer a more cost effective option.
