    Water heater check valve

We have a 2020 29RS with a Dometic 6 gal water heater. Does anyone know the part number for the water heater check valve? Mine is leaking, I see some discussion about replacing the plastic valve with a brass one. I think I stay with the plastic.
    Thanks

Thread moved to Plumbing and Water Systems.

The WH check valves are quite generic. You can order them on Amazon or pick them up (plastic or brass - which I prefer) at most RV businesses. You just need to know the diameter, so take the old one with you (best bet) or measure the diameter.

I had to replace our check valve on our last outing due to the plastic cracking. I was lucky and found the leak early before it filled the underbelly. The heating and cooling of the plastic causes it to become brittle and doomed to eventually fracture.
I would strongly suggest a brass replacement or it will re-occur. I would also change out the cold Inlet fitting as well while you are at it. It is a simple male to male pipe nipple also readily available.
