No propane fridges
We are getting ready to purchase a 2023 reflection. It doesn’t have propane for the fridge. Just electric. Anyone have experience with this? Pros and cons

Pretty well the norm to have a 12V refrigerator with a solar panel to keep it going on the road. Boondocking will likely require a generator or upgrading the solar.

We just ordered a new Solitude and are getting the 12 volt fridge. A departure from the old gas/electric we are used to. I am confident (hopeful) it will preform as expected.

I don't believe the performance of the 12V fridges is an issue. I believe the main concern is keeping the battery/ies charged when not availing yourself of shore power.

Which is the exact reason we went with an older model. That 12 volt fridge only was a deal breaker for us as we boon dock too much.

I love our 12 volt fridge. 2 extra cubic feet, no gas to concern ourself about. 99% of the time we are connected to power. Never an issue when driving.

We just purchased a 2670MK with a Furion all DC refrigerator. There are Pros and Cons to this new frig. On the plus side its 2 cu ft larger than the gas/electric frig. It cools down quickly, is very easy to adjust the temp and is more like a residental frig. The down size it that it puts a significant drain on the battery, I think its about 70-80 AHs per day. GD did install a 165 watt solar panel on the roof to help off set the added drain, but i don't think its enough. Right now we mostly camp where there is electric hook-ups so this is not a big issue, but we plan on boondocking real soon. So I just have to include the extra power draw in my calculations when I size my new batteries. All things being equal we are happy the frig, but we weren't unhappy with the gas/electric frig. It seems like GD fixed something that wasn't broken.
