376RD Weight Sticker empty weight needed plus options

I am in the process of special ordering a Solitude 376RD. Looking on the Grand Design website they show the empty (UVW) weight as 15,180. That empty weight it will not work for me even with the 8K axle upgrade with the options I want. I called McLane RV in Texas and they just sold a 376RD with almost the same options and he said the sticker showed the UVW as 14,200. If someone who owns a 376RD could tell me the UVW and options I would be greatly appreciative. A photo of the weight sticker would even be better. Thanks all.

A trailer with 8,000 lb. axles should have a GVWR of around 18,000-20,000 lbs. That should be sufficient for any options you choose, unless you're going for the home gym option.

Best I can calculate we are at 15,891 with 711 lbs in options. That leaves 2,109 for cargo and belongings. In our current RV we have 2,320 in cargo not including what we load in before we head out.

With that, you may need to look at a triple axle model.

I am thinking now that the UVW on the Cedar Creek is incorrect. I backed into my cargo weight by weighing the rv and subtracting weight of options and UVW. What’s left should be cargo. I weighed everything in the storage and it was 333 lbs. in the cabinets, drawers and closet I am estimating 786 lbs. Total would be 333 + 786 = 1,119 lbs total cargo. Does that sound reasonable for cargo?
