    Air conditioner not cooling

We’ve had our rv for three years, gone on 3 or 4 trips. Loved it. This year the AC isn’t doing the job. Located in a very rural area of the Appalachian mnts. No dealers in 200 miles.
    Any thoughts, ideas welcome! Thanks

Does it power up and blow air? Are you on shore power?

If those answers are yes, your best next step is to get on the roof and pull the cover off of the air conditioner. Look for dirt, leaves, nests etc. blocking flow through coils.

Be careful up there! None of us bounce like we used to.

Keep us posted with what you find.

    And welcome to the forum!

Things that would help, to answer your question:
    1. Model of the Grand Design RV you have.
    2. Make and model of air conditioner

As a general comment, these A/C units are "self-contained" or sealed units, which means you can't add 134 refrigerant to them. What are the outside temps? These A/C units typically will cool about 15°-20°. Are you in a shady area, or is the A/C unit in direct sunlight?

If you have a temperature gun (you can get a cheap one from Harbor Freight or Amazon), I would check the outfit vent temperature. That'll give you an idea as to what temperature the air is coming out of the unit.
