    Awning sagging

I have a new awning installed on my 2019 2600RB Imagine travel trailer that is sagging and the door is now rubbing on it when fully opened. How do I fix this?

If you had it installed not that long ago, they should be able to readjust the tension. Or if a while back you might have to pay a few bucks to have it done. If you're not familiar with the awning spring/motor mechanism, it might be best to have it done by an RV tech. Those springs have some pretty fierce tension.

Wondering if the new awning is the correct size. Where did you get it?

Thanks, perhaps but the outside edges are tight, with the sag in the middle. Slight bow in the middle of the roller.

Got it replaced by the dealer, seems to be the right size.

That almost sounds like it was installed with it too tight. The center of the awning roller could have bent slightly, while the braces on the ends would have kept them in place. Can you see the roller move like it's bent when you bring in the awning?

I will look for that, I haven’t fully rolled it up since posting this. Thanks
