Hi, Should be very easy to manage on 30amp service. You probably won't need 2 AC's, I run a 1500 watt heater, and the fireplace at the same time. Water heater on electric, I may turn off a heater when using the coffee maker or hair dryer, I have never tripped a breaker. Enjoy Nova Scotia and our electrical grid, I have for many decades.

Have a great safe trip…hit PEI, you’ll love it!
Thanks. PEI is gonna be our base. Looking forward to it. 🤠

They’re on our list now! 🤠. Thanks!

If you do the Cabot Trail (must do), try to do it over 2 days and counter clockwise. 1 is possible but tight. Skyline trail is a must do hike (easy walk). A short 2.5 km round trip and flat but the view at the end is iconic of Cape Breton Island. If you like lobster, mussels, in Baddeck go to the Baddeck Lobster Suppers.

Thanks for the tips. And we’ll definitely be in search of lobster. Looking forward to the lobster supper. Yum.

You can reduce electrical load by running the water heater on LP only (if you have a tank style water heater). It's easy enough when you get the hang of it.

I also loved the one about power being metric. Oddly enough, power is one of the few things in the US that is metric.
Metric power. Who knew? (Not me….&#129315
