    Microwave not working

Does anyone have an idea of why the microwave not working?
Check the fuse box, its OK.
We barley used it, and even then it was just warming up food.
They put the shield behind the micro, and it worked then.

The microwave should be plugged into a standard 120 volt receptacle in the cabinet so if you can remove the microwave you can then test the outlet with either multimeter, receptacle tester or any other appliance. Could be that the plug vibrated out of the receptacle. This will help narrow it down to a bad microwave or bad power.
Our 22RBE's microwave has a metal fairing (not sure what it is called) that is attached to the microwave and also screwed to the cabinet. Removing the screws going into the cabinet allows the microwave, with "fairing" attached, to be pulled out of the cabinet.
    Good luck.

The Furrion microwave in our RV has a fuse behind the top faceplate on the right side. The front door has hooks that goes into slots in the front when you close the door. Behind the slots are multiple micro switches. When you open and close the door, if those micro switches don't close at exactly the same time it blows the fuse. There are postings on this board and multiple videos on you tube describing this problem and showing how to replace the fuse. In some cases people have had to replace the plastic bracket that holds the micro switches.

If this fuse is your problem searching you tube or this forum should help you fix the problem.

What Steve said. Accessing the fuse itself is easy. It's an old auto-type glass fuse with metal caps and a wire, 10 or 20 Amps I think. Get a number of them, because they will continue to blow. As a stop gap, lift up on the microwave door when opening or closing. The permanent fix is to replace the light weight plastic bracket that holds three contacts in place that the hooks on the door goes into. The plastic wears down and the switches don't contact correctly. It's not too difficult a fix, but you do have to disconnect 12 or 13 wiring connections to swap the bracket out. Mark all of the connections with tape when you take them appart.
