Supporting Frame While Adjusting Brakes
It's time to adjust my brakes on our new tt (8 months, 5,000 miles). Should I leave it hooked to the truck via PP3 while raising the frame to get all 4 tires off the ground? I suspect it will need a good bit of lift to accomplish due to suspension. It did on our 5r but just used the hydraulic levelers to raise, then jack stands for safety. Never done it on a tt. Suggestions? Thoughts?

Would it be easier to do one wheel at a time? Just jack up the wheel, no need to raise all four at once. JMO anyway.

I jack up one side and use jackstands then do the bearings and brakes on both
I also switch the tires.
Then I do the other side.

I did it today using a floor jack under the inside axle clamp. Only slightly in the way due to its space between the front jack wheels and the lift platform. I used a wide chisel for the tool. Worked nicely.
