How long to fill Solitude fresh water tank?

Just wondering how long does it take to fill your fresh water tank?
I have a2018 Solitude and it is taking an 45 minutes.
Is the something i can check if this is unusual( it should be i think)

I have the control panel switches set up for powerfill tank
    Thanks

It takes me 22 minutes at home to fill ours. I'm guessing water pressure would affect this time but I can almost set my watch to it as to when it starts to run over.

We use Save-a-Drop meter. P3 P0550 Water Meter from Amazon. Has worked very well over the last 2 years. Very accurate as well to let you know how many gallons you have filled the tank with regardless of flow rates. It's plastic so you need to be careful not to put it under too much strain.

Is it ok to just fill it until it runs out the overflow tube?

Maybe. Does your overflow extend to below the belly skin? If so, I would think you could. That's what I used to do with the Foretravel, until I found out that the overflow didn't go all the way down and out. Most of the overflow did, indeed, go out, but enough managed to run around where it shouldn't be that we had to have some major repair work done. When we got our Reflection I tried stopping when the panel said we were full. Of course, that isn't really full, so we were missing out on a fair portion of our fresh water. I asked here, and someone said just to fill until the water comes out the overflow. The next time I filled I watched and sure enough, the overflow tube hangs down below the belly skin, so now I fill until the water starts coming out.

I do. Some report that if they drive after that it siphons out the tank. Not sure how that happens, but I’ve never had a problem.

We have heard this many times when the fresh water tank is full. I have assumed this to be related to centrifugal force in corners pushing the water out as opposed to a siphon situation. There are reports of a great deal off water being lost during travel days when a full tank is started with. I assume the overflow is just a line attached to the top of the tank. Not one that extends down into the tank. We run with 1/3 tank level to avoid this from happening. Once on location we top it off if dry camping. I have seen mentioned to add a shut off valve to the overflow line. This seem to be a good solution if traveling with a full tank - until you forget to open the valve back up. Not sure what the tank would do in a vacuum situation. I assume bad noises would be heard as it collapses.

The max we can get with our 374TH is about 3 gallons/min with a source pressure of 60PSI or so. Takes about 25 - 30 minutes for a full 83 gallon tank. I think it is all the restrictions introduced with the Nautilus panel valves and plumbing contortions behind the Nautilus panel.

We bought new hoses and the first thing we needed to do was fill our fresh water tank. It took over an hour! Come to find out, the inner diameter of those hoses was tiny. Water pressure was not a problem. It was hose restriction. It pays to look for a hose with a high flow rate.

Large ID hoses won't do that much to help, the small diameter of the interior lines is likely the main issue. Part of the "features" of the Nautilus system.
