Real 4 season Travel Trailer?
New to the forum, but not new to RV'ing. (since 1968)
Selling home this year and will be on the road from then own, as long as we are able.
Does Grand Design build a real 4-season trailer, or is there something better out there?
It might get a little chilly in Oregon and Washington while we are there.Last edited by Camper2; 05-25-2023 at 03:04 PM.

Id say most manufacturers don't, but there are a few out there. Depends how cold you plan on camping, things can be done to retain the heat in cold weather camping. Our last Momentum we stayed in it while the temps were in the mid-teens, and it wasn't bad, used a lot of propane and supplemented with electric heaters.

We're full time in a Solitude (and a Reflection before that). The Solitude does much better in very cold weather than did the Reflection (with the help of dual pane windows). We've weathered single digits with some ice and snow - but not for weeks on end like Canada and the Dakotas, etc. Balancing electric heating (the fireplace and one portable heater) with the main furnace to keep the basement from freezing, we really don't use too much LP, either.
