Roku TV Has Auto Power-on Feature

I've looked at the menu and find no way to defeat the auto-on feature that has the display powering up anytime the power momentarily shuts off. Has anyone figured out how to do it other than pulling the power cord?

There is a way to do it. Poke through the menus to find something like system or factory reset. As part of the reset process it will give you the option for the demo mode or not. It's been some time since I did it and you only have to do it once, so I don't remember the exact menu path.

On some TVs it's a location - "Home" or "Showroom."

Thanks. Demo mode? Sounds logical. System, Factory Reset, Home or store, it can see my home router so I'm signing in to our Roku account. Amazing tech! Will let you know.

Seems to be working. Unplugging from line now unit does not auto start. Got all my Roku stuff set up for home use so do not have to connect the Dish when home. Thanks again Harvestmoon and 2ndchance.

I don't mean to sound so negative (well, maybe I do) but I solved all of my TCL Roku issues by throwing it into a dumpster and replacing it with a Samsung. It is by far the most frustrating TV that I have ever had to deal with.
