adding a fan inside the 12v furrion fridge?

Thinking of adding a simple 12v "computer" fan to the inside of the 12v fridge for better air circulation. I have watched some videos on you tube on other fan installs in the normal rv fridge but not the furrion.

    Has anyone done this?

These are my options for pulling power. The light hot wire looks to be hidden.

I notice my 12v Furrion fridge is much better at cooling than my old Dometic absorption fridge I had in my old trailer and I don't really see a need for a circulating fan in mine. We don't boondock or camp off grid so the better performance and larger useable space in our new fridge is a great improvement over our old one.

I doubt you'd get much circulation since the shelves are solid glass vs rack style in an absorption fridge.

I just installed 2 hard wired 12v Beech Lane fans in my Furrion 12v 10cu ft refrigerator. I put one in the freezer and one in the refrigerator section. I think it made a big difference as I would get vegetables freezing in the back of the fridge. However the fan spin at 3500 rpm and after a day or so started buzzing and vibrating. I tried putting little foam feet thinking that might help with the vibration on the glass shelves but it did not. I think the fans just don’t need to spin at 3500 rpm so I’ve bought a PWM that should arrive tomorrow and I’ll install so I can reduce the RPMs. I’ll post more later, but I replaced the light switch with another one that looks the same but also has another electrical contact that duress the opposite Click image for larger version.

Has anyone replaced the top refrigerator shelf with a wire rack for better circulation?
