381M Shower Leak - Water coming from under kitchen cabinet
Been following the forum for a while, but never posted… thank you for the help in advance.
We noticed a leak today coming from the shower and appearing under the kitchen cabinet. Any suggestions as to where to start looking?
I was gonna start with the pex connections on the back of the mixer handles. Then, look at the bottom of the shower fittings through the cargo hold. Any other ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. We’re just started a 5 day trip…

Welcome to the forum. Sometimes the black tank flush vacuum breaker is installed behind the shower. Did you happen to notice if it leaks only when you shower or use the black tank flush?
Could also be like you suggested, the connection on the back of shower controls.2023 Momentum 398M-R

After looking at the mixer connections, look for any pex to soft hose connections. Pretty common area for leaks.

We had a leak from the shower going under the bathroom cabinet and the wall to the bathroom. It turned out to be the lower shower door rail not being properly caulked. Haven't had that leak since. On our previous rig (a Reflection fiver), the backflow preventer for the black tank flush failed and leaked a lot of water in the basement. The black tank flush backflow preventer, depending on the floorplan, is often in the space behind the shower faucet.

Checked the back of the mixer through the secret panel. There were some hard water stains, but nothing fresh. Tightened up a few things and showered again, but not the problem.
Now to the under shower area… wish me luck

I looked at your floor plan again, does the water only appear when showering? There are a lot of water connections in the basement area in the vicinity of your kitchen cabinet. Your water heater is most likely there as well as the Nautilus system. You'll need to remove the false wall in basement, but you'll have access to everything. Check all fittings and anywhere there is a flexible hose, look for evidence of leakage. You should also be able to access the shower drain and water pump behind that wall. Let us know what you find.

I also neglected to welcome you to the forum in my first response... welcome to the forum! Here are a few forum tips:
1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.
2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.
3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

We had a leak from the fresh water tank to the inlet on the water heater. I must have spent a couple hours trying to find it. I located it when I removed the cabinet door that is screwed shut. It is pex tubing, but I used a stainless steel clamp and it worked. Good luck!
