    B&W Companion Hitch

Wondering if anyone who has one can answer my question. What is the side to side tilt angle that it has. Online is 7*, but is that from level, or the tilt from one side to the other. My current hitch is a Reese M5, and I measured 7* from level to full tilt, brochure says 15* (which is obviously full side to side travel).

Reese is warrantying the plate on mine (after two years, it doesn't open all the way with the handle anymore, and I have to manually push the jaw open more to let the pin release), and I am thinking of selling it (with the new plate) and getting a B&W, but do not want to give up the side to side tilt angle.

I have the B&W hitch and I would say it is 7° from level. I've never had an issue with not articulating enough over rough road.

+1 for the B&W. Never had an issue with the side-to-side tilt.
