Tighten slide awning

I had slide awnings put on our 380TH before we picked it up. The issue I am facing is that they are a bit loose and this causes two problems. When windy, they flap excessively and make a lot of noise. Also, when it rains even a little, the water pools up and stretches them out a bit more. I did not have this problem with my old camper on either of the two slide awnings.

Is it possible to increase the tension on the awning? Has anybody adjusted their awnings to do this? If so, can you give me some pointers as to how to go about it?

I don't know if you can adjust tension or not, but those two reasons are exactly why we didn't put slide toppers on our Reflection. Always pooled water and very noisy in windy conditions. Hope for your sake they can be adjusted.
