    Bathroom furnace vent

    Hello everyone,
Has anyone else noticed in their Reflections that there is almost zero heat coming out of the bathroom vent? In ours, yesterday we got snow, yes snow and it was cold out. So we had the furnace on and there was almost no heat coming out of the bathroom vent. You could barely even feel it. The bedroom had some heat coming out, I wouldn't say lots but some anyway.

Also found the furnace seem to be rather loud.

    Rich and Karen,

The ductwork from the furnace to the forward part of the trailer is really easy to inspect.
Just remove the wall on the aft side of the pass through storage area (3 or 4 screws on each side).
I expect the flex duct is crushed/ripped/disconnected.

Agreed that the furnace is loud. This is normal.

Sorry to hear that you had to use the furnace in August !!!

Thanks for the information Rob. I' will maybe check it out tomorrow. I have to take the trailer In for a couple of issues that popped up on this trip. So might get the dealer to fix it... Although sometimes it's just as easy to fix things yourself.

Thankfully today it warmed up again. Crazy weather lately. Last week we had plus 38 C, then to Plus 3 C yesterday. Thanks again.

Mine was doing the same thing. Took down the storage area pass thru wall panel and saw that the duct to the bathroom had come loose and fallen down. Retaped the duct panel back up with alluminized duct tape....fixed.

Ciaran1, Keep an eye on it. We taped ours up 2 times. Third time I used screws to keep it in place.

When you say the furnace is loud, Cate & Rob and it is normal, mine Taps really loud like the fan is rubbing on the shroud. The dealer is ordering parts and said it should not be loud.

Thanks, I will get that checked just to be sure when I take it back to the dealer.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll get my dealer to fix it. Hopefully they'll do it right. If not, I'll fix it myself.

Okay so my dealer "apparently" fixed the furnace vent last time i had the trailer in. Now, it still not blowing any more hot air than before. Should there be a fair amount of air coming out of the bathroom vent? Also, Is it normal to look down the vent and see wires down there ? Or if it was hooked up right, should you not see anything? They told me they replaced all the duct work for the bathroom and bedroom. I think I will take a look myself.

    Thanks.

    Hi Rich,

Are you talking about the rectangular grill behind the toilet or the small round one in the base of the vanity ?
The one behind the toilet is an air return to the furnace area. The small one on the vanity is the heated air supply.
