    Aux Fresh Water fill

So while I was in the middle of replacing my Kant-leak valve assembly (we'll see how long it lasts) I decided to go for my next list item.

I need/want to be able to fill my fresh water tank without having to pull out into the street and stretch a hose. My last two trailers I just tapped into the bottom of the tanks but they didn't have belly covers. (The trailer is 4" off the fence on the street side so no access while "stored")

I decided to add a connection inside the basement access on the curb side and tie it into the PEX line that goes to/from the fresh water tank.

I added a regulator and valve on the connection so there is no chance of over pressure and the pump can't suck air in through the connection.

Works great and now we can pretty much do all prep. in side yard before trips.

I guess I could put the street side slide out and push over the fence into the neighbors house.... But we're friends so far

Nice clean install and much cheaper than replacing the fence!

Looking forward to your write up on replacing the Kantleak system.

    C&H,

I just replaced my Kant-Leak with the same thing sent from GD. There is a good write up around here somewhere on replacing the Kant-Leak with a manifold type setup.

    EDIT: Found it
