Many use Zep floor protectant bought at Home Depot. It's what they put on vinyl flooring. It produces a great shine, too.

You could also use any high quality auto/truck wax. There is quite a bit of reading online at auto detailing websites. AutoGeek.com would also sell such products--and they have good tutorials on detailing.

I take mine to the semi truck wash on the interstate. They have a spray on wax that really seems to hold the shine. I get my 30 footer washed and waxed for $1.50 a foot. I've used the 303 protectant on my ATV's and really like the way it keeps the mud from collecting on all the surfaces. It does attract dust though.

I used it on my previous travel trailer and was pleased... have yet to undertake the significantly greater surface area of the fifth wheel...
During my search on the forum I ran across this post from three years ago and wondered if you're still having success with 303 Protectant and how you apply it on your rv - just on decals or the entire surface? If on the entire surface do you still apply a wax and if so what kind? Your experience with the product over the last three years would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I use 303 on the decals twice a year. Used to use Simple Green to clean black steaks, but I don't have that problem with this trailer. Might be the climate here. I use Citrus Wash and Gloss from "The Chemical Guys" to wash all my vehicles. It cleans easily and leaves a shine that lasts. It is also very economical at the recommended dilution of 2oz to 5 gallons of water. A gallon seems to last forever. In addition, I wax the front cap with marine wax to help shed bugs.

    Safe Travels.

Has anyone tried the ceramic topcoat (F11)on the exterior of the 5th wheel decals. Does it hurt to use this?

I have been using the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic wax. Its fast, easy, and does a great job on beading and protection. Lots of you tube videos about this new product.

Thank you, just wasn't sure if it would hurt the decals.
