Just picked up my new 2015 379FL
Hello All,
Just picked up my new 2015 379FL. I have a few questions. What should I look for closely when it comes to my punch list? I've already found a few items such as the LED light at the hitch is only partially working. One of the flood light covers fell off during my ride home. One of the little LED lights in the entertainment system came out of the hole during the ride home. Are these minor issues? I think they are. Also, I had the 6.5kw Onan propane generator installed. I do mostly dry tailgating/camping. I'm trying to figure out the best place to store 2 additional propane tanks. Any suggestions? Just want to get some advice from some of you seasoned RVers. Thanks in advance

Congratulations! Enjoy it! Stuff happens when you have a rolling earthquake. I think you can trade 40 lb cylinders for your 30

One idea for extra propane storage is to find a tank that was originally in a motor coach. They tend to be around 35-50 gallons and normally have feet/bracketing where they tie in to the underside of the coach. You can put it behind the cab in the bed of your pickup in front of your hitch as an auxiliary propane tank. Have a long hose made for boondocking and you are set.
If you get anywhere near Portland, Or I have some extras from a project we did a year or so ago. They are new units that were never installed and work great for this very purpose. Wouldn't want to ship them though as they are a tad heavy.
