Furrion 3100 Entertainment System
Has anyone had problems with their Furrion System? I've just replaced my third one. First wouldn't play DVD. Second one, the inside speakers quit working. Furrion sent me a third one, new in the box. I installed it. Everything worked fine, except the DVD player. It worked for about 5 minutes, and quit. Is there another system? Has anyone upgraded? And I did try the reset button.

The better question would be "how many of you haven't had issues with the Furrion". Do a search here on Furrion and see what I mean.

I have a DV1200 and the DVD went south after just a few minutes. I noticed that it is about $100 more expensive than the DV3100.

Furrion is garbage. It is one of 2 things I don't like about my rig.
The statement below is true.
The statement above is false.

That's why several of us on this forum (another that I know of being Poppy) have bypassed the stock stuff altogether by installing a good quality sound bar and wireless sub (I used Polk Audio - I forget what brand Poppy used). We installed the sub behind the fireplace. I had to raise the TV mount about an inch to get the sound bar to fit under, but that was easy. I also installed a compact DVD/Blue Ray player with the Dish receiver in the left hand cabinet above the TV (already wired for the satellite receiver in the Reflection 337) and connected everything via HDMI.
