    Nevada State Parks

We spend 3 to 3 1/2 months in Arizona, travelling from BC, Canada in January and then back home in April. This year we would like to visit the Nevada State Parks on the way home and are wondering if anyone had recommendations. Going on line, it looks like all the parks are first come, first serve so would be interesting in accessibility to the parks in the late March to mid-April time frames. Also looks like some of the parks have limited lengths available so would be interested in comments on that too. The Facilities and Amenities sheet I down loaded form the State Parks web site showed that some parks have "some sites with utility hook ups". Does this mean the rest do not have any hook ups?

    Thank you

We will be coming from Las Vegas and touring Nevada heading north for a month or so. We are open to going to any of the parks in the state as we have not spent any time there. All suggestions and possible concerns with each park would be appreciated.

The Valley Of Fire State Park is a neat area. It has a lot of rock geology, that is great for photography. I have seen some Desert Sheep out there also.

Here is a link to a few photos I took there.
