    Satellite connections

    2016 313RLTS
The outside activity center for hookups has 3 ports for TV. 1. living Room 2. bedroom and 3. Cable
We can watch satellite thru bedroom but the living room will not get the satellite feed from dish. This is Direct TV. WORKS PERFECT in bedroom. Frustrated! any suggestions before we run new coax??

We have the same setup in our camper. The cable feed supplies both LR and BR but the satellite connection only feeds the outlet where the receiver is located. Not sure if this is the way it is supposed to work, but that is the only way ours has worked on the last two campers.

We put receiver in LR but it won't work. Works in bedroom when receiver is hooked up there. Almost seems the coax from living room to connections center must be bad. Maybe cut or something g make sense?

Our living room has two connections, one for cable/antenna and one for satellite. We connect the sat receiver to the "sat connection" and use a HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV, have to make sure to go to the TV menu and select HDMI input when viewing satellite. It's also possible to have a bad cable connection on either end. You may want to run a cable directly from the dish to the receiver and then connect the receiver to the tv; if that works then you have a bad cable some where.

If you hook cable coming from the dish to the living room connection and you have the dish receiver in the L/R it should work. The connection labeld cable is daisy chained to feed every location and will not work with satellite, only park cable. Hope this helps

Just went thru PDI for new 337RLS. Tech told us that for satellite there are 2 hook-ups, 1 for BR and 1 for LR, and connecting to one does not feed the other - need splitter. However, the cable hook-up does send signal to both LR and BR. I have not tried either yet, so just passing on what I was told.

Going camping in our new 328M Momentum tomorrow and have not used our satellite (Directv) yet. Was looking tonight and noticed there is not a good place to put the receiver on any of the TVs. What have you all done to accommodate a receiver?

Check the connectors on the coax that your not getting a signal on. My bedroom coax connector at the utility center had a piece of shielding braid wrapped around the signal core wire. Good luck,
