Would you buy again.
Looking at a new reflection 5th wheel. We're getting close to signing. I haven't found any real red flags here more than just normal things. I guess the best recommendation would be if you would buy yours over again? We've only had trailers before, this will be the first 5th wheel. We've only had Forest River before. No complaints, but this time around we're liking the Reflection.
Last minute advice?
Thanks

Hi and Welcome! We have had our Reflection for almost 10 years, things have changed quite a bit since ten. would we buy another Reflection very likely, but not the same floor plan because they have changed the interior quite a bit since then. But a different slightly longer floorplan to gain the same things that attracted us to our 303 we'd seriously consider another Reflection.
Which floorplan are you thinking about?Marcy & Gary

I have a triple axle Momentum 394M Toy Hauler and I've had very few things about it that has needed attention. I made a slight adjustment on the curbside slide a few years back, and I've had to re-nail a few spot of trim coming loose, but that's about it. Oh, almost forgot, I replace some hydraulic hoses for the front landing legs last summer, as they were leaking slightly at the crimp connectors. If I were to do it over again, based on what I have experienced, yes, I would buy that one or a similar one from Grand Design. It is head and shoulders better than a previous trailer we had.

Thread moved to New To RV'ing, Purchase Questions & General Concerns.
In answer to your question - yes... and we did. We spent our first 4-1/2 years full time in a Reflection 337 fifth wheel before moving into our Solitude four years ago. Both required minimal tweaks to get them up to snuff (of course, that's not counting all the mods and upgrades we've done).

This is our first Grand Design. Overall, we like it. Would we buy it again? Given the same circumstances, yes. Would we buy from the same dealer? Given what we now know, NO! The next time we're in the market for an RV, we will definitely ask the appropriate forum about the specific dealer's reputation.

We had a Reflection 297RSTS for about 3 years which had some minor warranty items to deal with and some upgrades that I did and then we bought a 2022 Solitude 378MBS. It also had some warranty items to fix. Yes we would buy again and did with the Solitude. We almost bought an Alliance 5th wheel instead but could not get to the price we wanted. I would buy Grand Design again if they had the floorplan and price I was looking for.

I would have no problem buying another GD 5th wheel. If this is your first fifth wheel....make sure your TV is up to the task. It's a different calculation than a TT.

My answer would also be yes. We have the 260RD which is pretty similar to the one you're looking at. The advantage that the 270BN has is access to the bathroom and bedroom with the slide-in, a real advantage on travel days. What sold us on the 260RD are the windows, a real advantage while camping. We've been happy with the GD quality, a real step up from the FR product we had before.
