a hotly debated topic, but if you buy a litime, battleborn or the like you don't need to worry about it, the internal bms will take care of it for you. just make sure your charger can deliver 14.5 volts minium and let the bms take care of it.

I built my packs out of eve lifepo cells, and use a solar over kill bms. I like 3.50 volts......I believe battleborn goes to 3.6,

I've never check the Schwintek slide for current draw, but I know it's no where near the current that is drawn my the hydraulic pump motor.
For the leveling system I am also around 70 amps but 30-35 for the hydraulic slideouts.

Actually, my BB manual states 13.2-13.8 but BB send me an email chart which shows 13.6V as the 100% SOC floor (up to 14.6v). The 13.6V is from my Progressive Dynamics charge controller and BMV 712 considers 100% SOC. Not sure if that is a setting in the BMV or not - nothing I recall setting.

The BMV 712 has a function that the SOC is resettable in it. If you charged your battery up to 50% SOC, you could reset it to show that it is 100% SOC if you wanted to. I'm certainly not implying that you should do that, just saying that it's possible.

I too have a homemade battery built from 4 EVE cells but I bought a DALY BMS. My Converter/charger is a Meanwell NPB-750-12 and I've actually got it set on the FLA mode and three stage charging. That puts out 14.2V instead of the Lithium setting which does 14.6V. Once the battery voltage equals the boost voltage of 14.2V, it switches from constant current to constant voltage and when the current decreases down to 10% of the rated charge current (rated is 43A on the NPB-750-12, so 10% would 4.3 amps), the charger stops charging and goes into float voltage mode which is 13.4V. I set it up this way on purpose for a couple of reasons. (1) I didn't want to push 14.6V to the battery as there is really no need to push it that high. I realize that charging takes a bit longer, but it's not a big deal to me.....I prefer the 14.2V. (2) I chose the 3 stage charging vs. two stage because in the three stage, I end up with a lower float voltage. In two stage, the "float" voltage stays the same as the boost voltage, which I definitely did not want.

13.2V is definitely not fully charged......that's 3.3v per cell and equates a lot closer to a 70% SOC.

My bad on that - re-read and it's 13.4-13.6 which they say is 99%-100%.
