Co / Propane detector

Hi all,
I need a new co/propane detector. Is there any difference in brands? I see the Safe-t brand is about double most other brands. Is it that much better, made in USA, or something else?
I am all for USA and getting quality but the pocketbook is squealing. Any thoughts or experiences in other brands? Thanks!

When you reference 10 year one - are you talking about the kind that you get for a sticks and bricks instead of hardwired for the RV?

See my link above for Amazon. It is a 12v connection for RV and has a 10 year life.
Also, it is an easy install. Just make sure your battery and shore power are off.
