    Solitude doesn't sit level

    Hello,
So as where driving back north from being a snowbird, I noticed my Solitude doesn't sit level when it's connected to my dually. It appears to be lower on the driver's side or left side however you call it. This is also the side all our appliances are also. I also noticed on my TPMS that side runs 4 degrees warmer on the tires than the right side. Could it be worn springs? What's your thoughts?

Just to let you know that I edited the thread title to let people know what your issue is. You might post some pictures of the springs you suspect could be worn.

You need to supply more data: pictures of the springs, measurements of frame-to-ground distance, that type of thing. Could be bad springs, broken springs, broken spring hangers, broken frame, etc. Right now all that can be supplied is speculation.

Picture doesn't look good. We have a shorter Solitude but from the factory it's over 600lbs heavier on the off-door side where all the appliances are and where the pantry and most of the cabinetry is not to mention what we put in the fridge. It still sits level. As Hoopy said, park on a level slab if you can and take some frame measurements and pictures with the truck hitched. Did you purchase new? Do you know if you have the 8K suspension (8K will have 7 leaf springs)?

Regarding your tire temperature differences...sun. Check it when it's sitting still and you'll see the tires on the side facing the sun will be hotter than the shaded side. Same while you are on the road. Nothing to worry about. Now if you are driving and one tire is noticeably hotter than the other(s) on that side, you may want to check it out more closely. From what I've seen though, most people that have had bearing failures did not notice a high enough temperature on the TPMS to alert them. I think in theory it's a good concept, but in practice it doesn't seem to translate quickly enough to the TPMS. Just my observation though.

Crawl under and look at the springs, if they are flat, then there is your answer.

That would certainly explain part of it, but not the complete story why the distance from the axle to the ground is different side-to-side.

I don't see anywhere in his post that he stated the distance is different.....

Could your truck be sitting in a low or high spot? Could be a matter of perspective. Happy Camping!
