337RLS Only has one heat vent in Kitchen & TV / Living Room

We just returned from 5 nights of local camping to try out the "New to Us" 2014 337RLS.

It was chilling in the camper most mornings and we noticed the first level did not warm up very fast. Then I notice there only seemed to be one heat duct, and that was at the end of the island in the cabinet.

That vent was barely moving any air at all, while the small round vent in the bathroom sounds like one of those turbo hand dryers!

    Is there a fix?

    Hi Marty,

This isn't right and can be fixed. We have essentially the same distribution system in our 303 and have a reasonably good airflow balance between island and bedroom/bathroom. We have two vents in our island, one at the back and one facing the table. Is yours the same ?

The furnace air transfer is by incredibly fragile aluminum flex ductwork. This can easily be squashed, torn or disconnected. I would start by removing the aft wall in the pass thru storage and inspecting the ductwork. Since you have high pressure in the bathroom, I expect that the duct back to the island is squashed or blocked. This might mean dropping the underbelly to track this down.

It is designed to work properly . . . you just have to get yours back to working as designed.

Our 337 has two vents in the kitchen island with good air flow (and I haven't found a Dyson hand dryer in the bathroom...).

We have a third heat vent on the fridge side of the center island near the front edge of the island. Nice this past weekend when doing AM dishes in stocking feet. Our 303 is an early build (10/13) so possibly this third vent was stopped in later build Reflection 303's and 337's as things change all the time.

I'll be darned! You made me go look again, Dan, and ours has a third vent in the kitchen side of the island, too!

I need to look into the heat vents on our 323BHS. We most often use the fireplace for heat and supplement it with a couple of small ceramic heaters with fans.

Well There is a third vent on the kitchen side, but ours is towards the back of the island, with the other two !
I guess I haven't been doing enough dishes with the furnace on .
