    Lesson Learned

Don't take a shower while my wife is cooking breakfast. I guess the propane line is not big enough for the TWH and the cooktop at the same time. I don't like cold showers.

Guess it was a good thing the furnace wasn't running too! I am suprised that happened, is there a kink in the line anyplace? You should be able to do both !

I'm with Marcy on this.... both should work at the same time. Maybe a bad regulator or tank valve not totally open?

This might be the perfect time to reflect back on what you may have done recently to make her mad at you, and realize that she has subtle ways of "Karma"

Try setting hot water to 108F ( 42C ) and only use hot water tap in the shower . you should only loose some flow if DW does the dishes !

I had the shower setting on max. There are no visible kinks and the valves are wide open. I can't check the regulator.

Yeah... better karma then PO'd, she could've thrown some ice cold water over the shower door...LOL!

I lowered the TWH temperature to 113. I was able to take a long shower with no changes in the set temperature in the shower. We have already eaten breakfast, so no cold water by my wife. My wife did the same thing right after me and she said the shower was great. We both love the big shower head that came with the Reflection. I now need to figure out how much propane I use taking long showers.

For us it was surprisingly very little propane required for the the on-demand WH. We have tracked it over the last couple years with the Mopeka sensors. Granted we are only out camping for 10-15 days at a time.

You might want to verify that the tank selector is pointing toward the tank you are using. I have heard that it can limit the pressure if it is not. I do not have a pressure test device, but have noticed the stove top flame is lower if I switched tanks and did not move the selector.
