    Lithium Battery Brands?

LiTime is the favorite here, but what are other cheaper brand options that are dependable?

I have a Weize brand - no issues. When I bought it, it was $319.00. All of these batteries are a lot cheaper now.

I have 3 BattleBorn 100ah. I know they are expensive but they are assembled in USA and they are gearing up to manufacture all components in the USA. With a 10 year warranty I decided to go with them. Made in USA is important to me and their customer support has been phenominal.

A couple of weeks ago, I searched Amazon for the lowest priced 12v, 100ah, Lithium (LiFePo4) batteries. The lowest price I found was $152, I also found several others for $178 (+/-), all with free shipping.

I always recommend that you search YouTube for a teardown video of any prospective battery brand you are considering. By watching the video(s) you can determine if the battery meets your service and quality expectations.

I only plan on rv'ing for another 3 to 5 years. Having a 10 year warranty is not a big deal. Getting a cheaper battery would allow me to get a better solar charge controller if necessary. It would also let me get an inverter later if I decide to do so or a small inverter generator. This would be used mainly if I got stranded or if the campground looses power. If I was one of the unlucky one's in my town that lost power Memorial Day morning and still without power I could have been using my trailer.
