    Floor gouging- possible slide hardware

In our 337, there is a gouge that just happened, just forward of the dinette table, about 2" long, in alignment with the slide going in and out. I have visited with GD warranty, and they advise me to have a dealer check it out as a possible issue they would extend warranty on. I will do this. I am asking whether anyone else has experienced this, and what was the cause? Thank you!

Hi Steve and Lynne (@steve gravelle),

Apologies if I am misunderstanding but it seems you're looking for replies from other owners, and not from Grand Design RV. If so, you may want to post this in the Reflection fifth wheel section (located at http://www.mygrandrv.com/for.../44-Reflection) of the forum instead.

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice

Janice, I have emailed Ryan Prough on this issue, he advised us to take it to a dealer to ascertain the cause. We very much appreciate you asking this question. All of you have been extremely helpful in solving our issues with a great product, and willing to extend our warranty on items if it is justified!

Make sure it isn't a rock or something that got underneath of it.

    Hi Steve,

I assume you are talking about the curb side slide ?
We had a similar problem at the aft end of this slide.
See my detailed reply in post #2 of this thread http://www.mygrandrv.com/for...=slide+slicker

    Steve,

I just experienced this last weekend and didn't notice it until we got back from our trip and had the slide out to clean. I couldn't see anything that could have caused it other than the action of the slide, so I am interested in what you find out. It is a small gouge on the floor between the slide and the island.

GD less than a year old. Floor was marking up with slide out. After back and forth with service and GD, everyone just basically said "o well its a flaw". Happens when slide out closed and rubs against floor while driving.
