Dining Slide in 2015 303 RLS-table hits island
With the slide all the way in the table hits the island (rubbed the finish off the island and table) and the carpet is curled up against the bottom. The carpet is not that big of a deal (yet) but the table was. It can't relocate/move back towards the window there isn't enough room to get the blind down and it's too close to the glass. I unscrewed it from the floor and we turn it sideways, strap it down when we travel. Looks like a design issue or the island placement is off. Maybe a table and inch shorter would be in order.

The only problem we had was the drawer sliding during travel and hitting the island.
We had been putting our silverware in the drawer and it was heavy enough to cause the slide to move out.
Took out the silverware and no more problem, store napkins and towel or two in it.John, Susan & Luke

We had the same problem, but I was able to move the table a half inch to the window and that solved it (not sure if the blind passes the table but hadn't thought of needing the blind below the table). Grand Design replaced the worn piece.

I have seen a couple of posts on this subject here and on Facebook. The island installation point must vary by installer given an inch or less is causing issues. I would expect that the size of the table would remain the same. Also would think they would pick this up during the two Quality checks they perform.

The blind going past the table isn't a big deal but the table was so close to the window I was afraid if it moved much it would hit the glass. Right now I'm satisfied with it being movable. One upside I can get by the island with slide in. I fixed the damaged areas myself, dealer tried but it looked worse. This post was more of a 'hey GD this might be a design problem"

I think the problem got worse when the dealer had to adjust the slide during the PDI. Slide being out of adjustment should have got caught during factory PDI.

Ours is the same. The dealer moved the table a little closer to the the window. Still touched the island. So I stuck a Dark brown chair foot pad on the island and the table bumps up to it and protects the table edge. The blind just clears the table with a little fineese.
