    Sewer hose placement

Has anyone figured out a good place to put the sewer hose when traveling?

In my camper, the bumper was the place.

    Thanks in advance, KEN

    Ken,

What model Grand Design do you own (you didn't say)? My 2016 Reflection 337RLS came with a PVC sewer hose carrier mounted just in front of the axles accessible from the left/driver's side of the trailer. My 15' RinoFlex just barely fits in. We also carry a 10' RinoFlex extension, but it couples back on itself, seals, and fits into the tub with the rest of the "contaminated" black/gray water equipment.

We have the 348M Toy Hauler and our unit has the PVC sewer hose tube mounted about 2 1/2' - 3' ahead of the rear bumper.

    I'm sorry

I have a 2016 380TH. We take delivery on Wednesday. The dealer is installing the hitch in the truck today.

There is a thread somewhere on the site here with some plans for a carrier made out of a vinyl fence post and caps. I used the materials and attached my sewer holder just in front of the sewer outlet - works great - hold's 20' of hose (when stretched out) and a rain gutter for use as a holder.

Compressed and in a tub seem to work.

On our 2015 380TH it came with a sewer hose tube mounted underneath a bit in front of the back end. You have to get down low to see it.

That sounds like the correct way to store the sewer hose.

Is there any chance you could post a couple of photos of your set-up? Thanks, KEN

Ken - unfortunately, my 337 is in storage off site from me for the winter. I borrowed the idea from Poppy's Fifth Wheel, only added one tube and just painted mine black. Instead of his closures, I took the easy way out with a carriage bolt and wing nut. I'll try and attach Paul's original post.

    Thanks Jim
    I like it.
Interesting use of the fence post, instead of PVC pipe.

I can do that. Now, I just need to get the toyhauler from the dealer.
