    length of 27rl

Anybody measured their 27rl? What is the length from the pin to the rear ladder?

    Thanks

Just went and measured my 2016 27RL (slides were out so there was some eyeballing it), I got 31' 9" from tip of hitch to the ladder.

I just bought a new 2016 27rl in October and have had it out once, here are a couple things i like and don't like. I like the nightstands in the bedroom and having a real sized queen bed. I also like having 3 slide outs which is unusual in a trailer this size. I like led lightings in the awning and a light to illuminate steps at night , i also like the 50 amp wiring, there are other things but a lot of this is personnel preferences. My dislikes would include the control panel for lights, slideouts etc, it should be lighted hard to see things when its dark in the trailer. I wish it had a little more counter space but my wife is fine with what there is. I wish the TV was opposite of the table so i could sit at the dining room table and watch tv. I wish there was more storage under the bathroom sink and easier access to storage located behind the dining table. Anyway just my thoughts as i will get use to all of this many of these may not be an issue to you. I do believe it is still a good quality trailer and there is no such thing as a perfect setup.

Thanks. Is there enough room around the dining room table to get in and out of the chairs?

I also have only used my 27RL once. The dining table is a little tight for four. It's fine for two, which is how we travel. I echo idtrout's assessment of most items, especially the lack of lights on the control panel. Minor issues really. It tows like a dream behind my 2015 Ford Superduty Diesel.

You can buy replacement switches for those that are not lighted. Why GD used lighted and non lighted switches in the same control panel is beyond me. I also mounted a battery powered light above the door which shines on the control panel so I can see what's what. As we all know the writing on the panel is so dark that it's very ahrd to see what switch goes to what without having a light shining on the panel. I've also thought about cutting a piece of plywood to slide under the carpet by the table once the dining table slide is extended so that the chair legs are level. As it is now, two of the legs are on the slide floor and the other two are main floor of the RV making the chairs unlevel. The plywood would only need to be 8-10" wide by 4' long.
