Does GD ship all rigs with a 50A cord and no adapters?

We just ordered a 2016 Reflection 318RST. I'm in the process of ordering all the additional stuff to go along with it. I'm up to $6,000 and haven't even ordered the washer/dryer yet. Yikes! Anyway, do these 5th wheels come with just the 50A power cord with a male connection on the end? I'm ready to order adapters (50-30 and 30-15). Just need to know what my 5th wheel will come with from the factory before I do that. Thanks!

No adapters included. I would suggest you give serious consideration to also purchasing an Electrical Management System for your rig. During our travels, we never plug into an RV power pedestal without first hooking up an EMS. We've caught many electrical problems which may have damaged our rig's electrical appliances if we had not been using an EMS. For example, we have frequently encountered low voltage conditions which can damage the air conditioning unit. We've also found open grounds, reversed polarity and high frequency situations. A good EMS system will protect you from all of those. You can purchase one which can be hard wired into your rig, or a portable one you can plug into the power pedestal and lock in place. We use the portable version, but either one is fine and is just a matter of preference.

Here is the one we use:

Thanks for confirming that Dave. I'll place my order now for the adapters. This is what I plan to get:

Our dealer threw in a "starter kit" which included the 50-30 and 30-15 adapters.
You might want to check with them first.

I use the attached 50 to 30A twist lock adapter and a 30A cord when we're at home or on a 30A site to avoid using the heavy 50A cord as I have 75 feet of 30A extension cords from previous RV's.

I'm not able to view that image but it sounds like a good idea Dave.

This works if your surge protector is built into the RV wiring. (a distinct advantage for that type of installation).
With the plug-in 50A surge protector, running just the 30A cord to the post won't allow you to use the surge protector, unless you drag out the heavy 50A cord as well.

What I would like to find (or may have to make myself) is a 50A twist lock to 50A male plug adapter so that I can have the surge protector at the RV with a 50-30 adapter and just run the lighter 30A cord, if that is the only power available.

    Rob

Edit: Found the adapter needed to keep the remote surge protector in the circuit at the RV end. (I think)
(not sure if the twist lock end is right or not)

Rob--I have a 30A female to a 50A male adapter.......would that not work to use the 30A cord plugging this adapter on 30A cord and then into the 50A plug on the surge protector? We don't use a SP yet but plan to get the 50A progressive and use this approach.
