    Thank you!

    Here is some pics.

I cut the power wire in the middle and mounted the breaker to the wall near the Hyd. pump. (note) There is something very solid in the wall to the right of where I mounted my breaker. I have a 2016 380TH.

I moved the lead from the left side of the old breaker to the power side of the breaker.

    Before

I had the exact same problem; slides starting and stopping and also the leveling feet starting and stopping. It was getting worse. I researched and found this old thread and did the exact same modification and it works like magic! Thank you for taking the time to post this several years ago…you helped me greatly.

    No problem Tim

It's surprising how many people are still having this problem. It's been known about for 6 or 7 years.

My hydraulic system was stopping intermittently. Some previous posts suggested that the original 60 amp circuit breaker was too small. It was suggested to move to 100 amp breaker. I called GD and told them what the problem was. They sent me a 100 amp replacement for free. Realize these circuit breakers automatically reset after they trip and they cool down. Since I upgraded, I have not had any issues. I think it was a known issue, but GD didn't want to acknowledge it. The circuit breaker runs off the battery and to your hydraulic unit. I believe it was a 4 gauge red wire. Can't miss it if you follow your wiring.

Question.....Are you sure it was a 100A auto reset breaker? Grand Design normally uses an 80A model. The second thing....in ever single application that I've seen, the wiring used for that circuit is 6ga....not 4ga.

If you do in fact have a 100A breaker in there, you probably need to either change it to an 80 (Lippert recommended size) or definitely make sure that you have sufficient wire gauge wiring behind it. 6ga wire is NOT rated for 100A

Sorry, quick clarification. I did replace it with an 80 amp fuse. The 100 amp fuse is for my inverter.

That sounds more reasonable....thanks for the clarification.

Grand Design did send it tome for free. This was way after the warranty expired. They seemed to know exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned upgrading the fuse.
