    External TV

Has anyone attempted to install a TV mounting bracket along with coax and power to the outside of a 2800bh? If so, pics would be awesome.

I was thinking to do this also. Haven't looked much into it yet though. Maybe this Spring I will dig farther into it. Any great Ideas on how to do this?

    Thanks

There's no mounting bracket, but in the water station there is a coax and plug for a tv. It's on the wrong side if you ask me, but it's there.

I have a Reflection 308 looking to mount a tv in the awning side front storage compartment there is an electric outlet in there and just have to run the cable from the other side. Looking to mount the tv on a articulating arm fastened to the aluminum studs in that compartment so it can swing out to the opening but probably will let it right inside the door opening so the sun and glare don't make it unwatchable. Not sure if the imagine line has the same storage options.?

In he 2800 all the hookups are on the driver's side for some reason. Better than nothing though.

It wouldnt take much to run them to the other side and use fasteners to make it look good

I'm thinking that WIFI may be a good way to do an outside TV, that way it could be moved around. Many DVRs (e.g. TIVO) and other gizzes (e.g. SLING box) will pipe signal through wifi - so then you just need to plug it in - could then also be used in the bedroom. You will need a router but not an internet connection.

Wifi is a good idea, I use tivo dvrs at home with a tivo stream for out of home viewing.

Another option is IOGEAR wireless HDMI transmitter. I use these at work to retrofit old conference rooms. They work great.

I have a 2800BH and was looking at the same thing. However, if I'm watching TV outside, I think the speakers that are mounted outside should play too.

Im thinking if I run a HDMI cable from the reciever, to the TV (outside) that should take care of it. Then I just select my reciever to zone 2. I think it would work ? May still have to run a coax for the cable, but maybe not. I Will let you know what I find out.

In the 2670MK it was easy since the inside TV (pop up) is next to the door - we had the dealer add a bracket and coax jack for the exterior just tapped off the interior TV and punched thru the wall.

Unbelievable that this had to be added when the 2670 has an outdoor kitchen. My first TT - 2013 Tracer 230 FBS had the outdoor TV and were hooked.
