Washer Hook-up Winterize?

I have never used my washer hook-up and got to thinking about the winterization process. Is there anything I need to do for this run of plumbing if I have never used it?

Yes...there's no valves that isolate so the hot/cold lines to the washer rough in will be full of water.

I agree with Dave. I blow mine out then run antifreeze through both hot & cold lines. I also dump a little antifreeze down the drain as an extra precaution.

When I'm winterizing mine, I just hold a pitcher up to each faucet and run it until the pink stuff comes out. Works great.

But also pour a little down the drain as well.
