    Why so many Jims

How 'bout a light hearted conversation about why there are so many Jims on this site.

    I'll start...

Grand Design dealers make better deals for people named Jim.

There are also at least three of us on the forum named Rob. Here's my theory:

    1. Many of us who are now heavily into RVing were born in the 1940s and 1950s.
    2. According to the U.S. Social Security Administration, the tops boys' names in the 1940s were James, Robert, John, William and Richard (in that order). The top names in the 1950s were James, Michael, Robert, John, and David. (I would imagine that it wasn't too different for the English-speaking parts of Canada).

    One of the several Robs...
    U.S. Army Retired
2012 F350 DRW CC LB Lariat PS 6.7
2020 Solitude 310GK-R, MORryde IS, disc brakes,
Sailun LRG tires, solar, DP windows, W/D
    (Previously in a Reflection 337RLS)
    Full time since 08/2015

Born in the early 50s . . . and I have two first cousins, born the same year . . . also named Robert.
Oh yeah . . . my brother, two years younger, is Jim.
Apparently there was a shortage of names in the early 50s .
