    Furnace exhaust seems exsessive!

303rls Turned on the furnace for the first time (we're in Florida). Way more exhaust than I expected coming out of the curbside vent. Heated the RV fine, but seems like a lot more heated air exiting via the exhaust than coming through the vents.
Just want to see if that's normal (we're newbies).

Normal exhaust is a pretty strong flow of very warm air. The exhaust vent becomes too hot to touch.

The exhaust you feel is from the combustion air which is a separate fan to the one that circulates air through the heat exchanger...separate systems though two impellers on the same shaft.

I've been told 40% of the heat generated by the furnace is ducted outside, and it's been the prime reason why some folks have purchased electric heaters, especially at parks with full hookups.

Reminds me of an old neighbor who covered his RV every winter. At some point he went inside his RV to do some work and turned on the furnace with the cover ON! I’m sure he misses that RV, but it was a great night for the fire department.

Mine has a pulsating sound. Kinda reminds me of an old "poppin' johnnie tractor". LOL
