I Found a New (to me) Miracle Cleaner
Okay, so I'm going to have shoulder surgery in the first week of April so I've got a ton of projects I need to get done. I've been posting all about them so I won't go into that but I needed to clean the trailer and put a coat of WashWax All on her. Although I don't put her away (along side the house) dirty, she just has a good coat of dirt on her and I haven't used WashWax All for some time. Anyway, I got to work and I noticed the entire front was covered with some pretty tough streaks from a couple of months of dirt and over night mist running down and getting baked on. I refuse to buy those RV cleaning products that are so over priced and don't really work that well so I did some research and found some great reports on a product I'd never heard of! It's called LA's Totally Awesome All Purpose Concentrated Cleaner and The Dollar Store carries it for, you guessed it, $1.00 for a 20 oz spray bottle. I figured why not try it. So off I go to The Dollar Store and sure enough, this stuff is a miracle cleaner! Gentle on most everything, no acid, no bleach and no ammonia. It's actually diluteable but for the streaks I just spayed it on it wiped it off. Then I went over the area with my WashWax All and voila! All beautiful again.
Anyway, I know we're always looking for little tips so this is mine.
BTW, did I say $1.00 for a 20 oz diluteable bottle?Paul "Poppy" and Deb Cervone

I've been using that for years, is a great cleaner and versatile. I keep a bottle in the trailer and house.
It can be found at many of the dollar stores.

Paul - I've heard concerns about some cleaners damaging the decals, you see any issues with the dollar store product?
Thanks,

Awesome is...well...awesome! Been using it for some years now. I would test it first. Dawn dish detergent is pretty good too. Cleans the roof as good as anything else for a lot less.

I used Awesome on black streaks on my old aluminum sided travel trailer. After many years, the paint got pretty thin. I assume it has a micro abrasive in it--like the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser has.
But Awesome is the only thing I've ever found to really remove black streaks.

Well, there is no paint on our trailers so I wouldn't worry about that. I avoided using it on my decals. I think most anything will be tough on decals eventually.
