    What do I need?

So I've been working out a list of things to buy or add to the camper. Seeing as this is our first, most of it's new or out of our house. I was wondering if I'm missing anything.

    Thus far:
    50Amp Surge Protector
    50Amp Extension Cord
    50Amp-30Amp Plug
    50Amp-15Amp Plug
    Lube Plate
    Stabilizer Pad - Large x6
    Water Regulator
Rhino Hose Kit, Rhino 10' Extension x2, Rhino Y, Rhino Clear Elbow x2
    Twist on Waste Valve x2
    Rubber Gloves
    Bio-Pak Waste Digester
    Rubber Wheel Chock x4

Otherwise a lot of stuff out of our house. Extra Coffee pot, old knife sets, storage containers, bowls, plates.

Am I missing something that we'd be remiss with out? I know it's everything but the kitchen sink, however that comes pre-installed..

    Thanks!

That's a good start. I'd also consider investing in a good Tire Pressure Monitoring System such as this one:

If you're going to be camping off the grid at all, you will need to keep your batteries charged. You can charge them with a generator or solar panels.
You'll also need a fresh water hose, and I'd recommend a water filter.

I'm sure other's will think of more.

I'd also recommend doing a bit of research on the GEO method for conditioning your grey and black tanks. Great for preventing issues with the tank sensors.

xs2 on the water filter. A mat for under the awning helps cut down on dirt tracked in. The list seems to never end, I'm sure more will be added

I've been thinking about TPMS, a GPS, and a camera of some sort. Those I'm up in the air about.

I do have a lot of tools to leave in the camper. We sold our UTV recently, so all of my tools from that I plan to leave in the camper.

Forgot hoses. Planed on two 15' Potable, one 25' non-potable.

I am having two 6v Interstate batteries installed instead of two group 29's. Looking to upgrade the charging system, also considering a Champion 3k Inverter Generator.

As for a grill, we're looking at the Traeger Tailgater. Hoping to pick one up tomorrow!

That tank flush guide is exactly what I've been looking for. I've been researching RV's for three+ years now, it's the first time I've ever seen anything that actually said not to leave the tanks open when connected to the sewer (I assumed it would be bad at least for black..).

    Thanks for the replies!

Ditto what has already been recommended, plus, I would add the following:

    Tools & Equipment:
-Spare Tire changing tools (lug wrench or breaker bar & sockets, jacking method) [Check for fit on the actual RV wheels: on my last RV my cross-bar lug wrench would *not* fit in the holes on the aluminum rims - had to use breaker bar & 6-point impact socket combo.]
    -Ladder
    -Caulk gun (for Lap Sealant)
-Some rope and tent stakes (I like to secure the corners of the awning during light breezes)
    -Axe (to split firewood)
    -Headlamp
-Plastic tubs w/ lids (1 for fresh water supplies, 1 for sewer connectors, 1 for wheel chocks that may have bugs in them)
    -Sewer Hose Support
-Rubber Mallet (to snug/loosen wheel chocks)
    -Tire Pressure Gauge (100+ PSI)
-Small throw-rug (for inside the entry door)
-Water Jugs (very handy if the camp site is electric only - I like the 7 gal. Aqua-Tainer,
    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...rds=aquatainer

    Miscellaneous supplies:
    -Disinfecting wipes
    -Tube of Lap Sealant
    -Small Tube of Silicone sealant
-Roll of EternaBond (Leak Repair Tape)
    -WD-40

And last, but not least, marshmallow roasting sticks!

Sounds like it's pretty much been covered. Now load it with your favorite beverage and snacks, and get out there and enjoy it! Anything else you need or want will come to you as you use it, sometimes it seems like a never ending cycle of "Now I want..."
