    Smile 369RL Pictures

My wife and I are thinking of picking the Solitude 369RL, but we have not seen any pictures of the rig or seen one in real life. The only pictures we have seen are on the GD website and are pretty limited. If anyone has a 2016 369, I would appreciate some pictures of the outside and the front. Man! This fence is starting to get a little painful

We love our 369. One of the older units, but love the layout.

Thanks for the Link! Did not think of that. Ok, here is a question. My current RV is 35'1". The 369RL is basically 39'. Has anyone made such a drastic change in length when upgrading and had issues towing, backing up etc. We camp at a lot of state parks in Texas, and I would be concerned that I could not get into them due to the extra length (cornering and such). Thanks for your replies.

I went from 37' to 42.6'. It takes a little more wiggle room.

I went from 26' to 39', so yes there is a little more care involved. Biggest problem comes though at gas stations, needing to fill up diesel while traveling. Thank goodness for Flying J and RV dedicated islands.

Does the back up camera help? If so, which camera is the best in your opinion?

I don't find that the back up camera helps a lot. It is such a 3 dimensional space around the trailer as you back into a site and you have so many blind spots down the sides of the trailer (unless you are going straight back) . . . that nothing replaces a spotter who knows how to use hand signals and how to stay in view in a mirror .

This is our first RV ever (two years into this now) and we have gone from selecting only pull through sites . . . to feeling good if we got it backed in no matter how many tries . . . to now being disappointed if we don't get it backed in perfectly on the first try .

I have a 50 gallon reserve tank in the bed of my truck. I've towed only a couple of times where I've need to refuel prior to reaching my destination. That is a big help.
