Hershey Pa 2016 Spring RV show

Anyone make it to the Hershey Pa RV show this weekend?...My wife and I went and having never been to the spring show we were very excited to go after hearing how great the September show is. What a let down.... we were expecting a better show although it was inside the Hershey Farm Show building which kept us out of the weather. Very poor showing of the Grand Design trailers I did not see any of their people there either and I think there were 3 trailers there but a lot of Keystone`s were there. There was a whole bunch of people there (too many for me) and it was next to impossible to even look into a trailer with a line forming at the door of all of them with people trying to get in while you are trying to get out of them.You would have thought they never saw a trailer and it was life imperative to get into them. Fixed me for the day ...that's enough of crowds and line`s so we got out of the sardine can. No real presence that I could tell of any of the suppliers like Dometic,Atwood or Shwinteck being there. I was looking for a Dometic rep ..cowards did not show themselves to me and I was wishing they were there! Only good thing that happened was my wife got to go shopping at the outlets for the day so it was a win for her. Doubt we will be going back ever to that show, maybe we will try the fall show in September.

Hershey shows are usually heavy on camping world dealers thus not a big GD presence. The only good hershey show is the one in the fall.
The last two weekends their was a show at timonium, MD fairgrounds. Three huge buildings packed with trailers. Heavy presence from GD. East coast rep for 5th wheeler was there. I asked him a few questions about the imagine, but, that obviously was not his thing.

Hi Gents, the show that Game Wanden was at this past weekend, was the HarrisburgRV show, it a smaller show.. The Hershey Show is September usually the second weekend. It is in the parking lot of Giant Arena next to Hershey Park. They also set up inside the arena, all around the main concourse and down on the floor.
Hope this sheds a little light.

Ps. There are thousands of rigs there ,you name a manufacturer, they are probably there. There are some nice campground not to far from the Show.

We always used Hershey High Meadow RV Park. They run a free shuttle from the park to the RV show all day long. Maybe a 10 min ride at most. I have read complaints from a few about the train noise but other then a low rumble as the train goes by, not much. A nice place to stay if you are going to the show. Plan on at least 2 full days if you intend to look at most. JMHO

That is correct the Hershey show is in September, the Harrisburg show this past weekend was in the Farm Show Building. My only guess is that they are trying to get the rv show back from Hershey. If you remember years ago the big September show was at the farm show but due to increases in rental fees and limited space it was moved to Hershey.
