    Question waxing the rv

I am interested in hearing what the fellow rvers use to wax the rv I have used Ice paste wax on my tt as well as my truck. Lately, I have noticed that it is getting harder to remove all the haze on each. It still leaves a smearing effect. Have done this in the shade on a warm day. Has anyone ever used Collinite? I have used it when I worked as an electrician in the late 60's to clean insulators in precipitators at the power plant. Collinite is designed for industrial, boats and rvs. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've used Aero Wash and wax for several years with good luck. It's waterless, so I can clean truck and trailer anywhere

Whatever you like for your vehicles is fine for your RV too...just lots of debate whether to wax the decals or use some other treatment.

    waxing the rv

I went Ice as well to see if the dust repellent claim worked and it did. The only thing that stuck was the clouds of pollen that occur in late June in the Lake Tahoe area. Everything is yellow.

Other than the pollen it worked well on the trailer and truck. I did use the electric buffer purchased from Walmart for $20, these things are to big for hand buffing off the residue. It is still repelling dust with rain beading off from 1 application last May.

Correction: I put the wax on with the buffer and took it off by hand. It was a bit of work.
