Access to back of the entertainment center
I was trying to hook up additional devices to the entertainment center (radio/DVD) of my 303rls but unless I am missing something there is no easy way to gain access behind the unit. Anyone venture into this project yet.

I attempted the same thing. I removed on panel and it was solid styrofoam behind it.

The entertainment center in the 303 appears to be similar - if not identical - to the center in my 337. I installed a sub-woofer behind the fireplace and passed a number of HDMI cables behind the center for a DVD/BlueRay player and the satellite receiver. I did this by removing both the fireplace and the Furrion head unit. It takes some maneuvering at the top, but the access is good at the bottom with the fireplace out. To remove the fireplace, just slide the trim up and off, then remove the four screws holding the fireplace to the wood framing.

Thanks Rob is there a trick to get the Furrion panel out of the panel?

Rick,
When I removed my Furrion panel to route some HDMI cables, it had a snap on ring around the perimeter of the unit. Once the ring was removed, there were some screws holding the unit in place. It was very easy to remove and replace.

Rob. Once you got the fireplace out, did you see how easy access was to where the cables come into the bottom of the slide? I want to run another coax from the service bay so I can use a sat PVR without running a second cable through the back window.

Rick - on the newer Furrion units the bottom half of the face snaps off if you pull on it with your fingers at either end. There are screws behind that that hold the unit in the panel.
Nick (did you guys plan rhyming names?...) - no, sorry - I didn't explore that far. There are two 72-ohm coax cables that I know of coming into the entertainment center already: 1 from the antenna/amplifier for over-the-air signals and one from the utility bay outside for satellite. There is also a connection in the utility bay labeled "Cable" (I use the one labeled "Living Room" for the satellite antenna). I assume that one is split to both the bedroom and living room, but haven't traced it.

The cable coax can't be used for satellite because of the splitters. A sat PVR has two tuners and needs a splitter free connection for each one. I've also found that I have to use the sat connection with a Comcast cable box because the number of splitters in the cable connection makes the signal is too weak. I am thinking about running another line just for cable and just using the existing one for the antenna.

I'm sorry - I don't seem to be getting notifications of new posts on subscribed threads (despite multiple checks of my forum settings...).
My unit has separate coax runs for cable (has splitters) and separate, individual runs for satellite. No problems using the connection for the living room to run the Dish antenna to the receiver in the entertainment center. With the Pathway X2 antenna, power and control are handled by the same coax run.
This response is probably too late to do anyone any good, though...
Al - no second cable required. I just added a hard drive to my existing 211Z receiver and it now functions as a PVR.
